I have a burning passion to create and share my artwork with the world
From hobby to dream job, i started (seriously) painting almost 10 years ago
After taking some drawing, graphic design and animation classes in high school, I knew I wanted to "be a “professional” artist and create art everyday for a living , but how?
Not many get to sell their drawings and paintings for a living and actually be fully funded by art, then struck my idea of becoming a tattoo artist on top of selling my paintings/ artwork.
I started my tattoo apprenticeship in 2019 where I started learning the ins and outs of proper tattoo procedures. Doing that full time as well as supporting myself working at local bars. Eventually (After being fired from my 1st apprenticeship (Because I tattooed myself before they said i was “ready” .And then leaving the 2nd place shortly after i was licensed because the guy was an absolute nut job) I moved onto a new venture, starting my own shop, when the real learning begun.
I also wanted to add more to my art career than tattoos only, so I decided I’d also teach painting classes to all ages 5 and up.
Bob Ross and my grandmother have always been an inspiration and teacher for my landscape paintings. I loved how calm Bob Ross went though his episodes assuring all who watched that they could do it too.
Sometimes teaching what you do know opens all sorts of possible things to learn. I am by no means a famous artist, but had a dream of creating artists that will have a voice of their own.
Opening my own all inclusive art shop was something I knew I must do in order to do all the artsy things I strive to do.
2.5 years into owning this amazing studio, I knew my 3 year lease was soon coming to an end in the Spring. I absolutly loved and enjoyed having my studio, I hardly took days off because I wanted to be there. Something new was calling me.
I thought, you know, I’m about to be 26, I have no kids or partner, I have money saved up. I want to start a new journey in life and go travel, spreading my artwork even further out into the world.
I could live in a camper, go to various art shows, fesitvals, tattoo conventions and guest spot opportunities and sell all kinds of art. Why not also teach painting classes along the way? Bars and restaurants love having fun things to do to draw people in.
And then if was decided. I would close in the spring, and set off on a brand new journey!
So I bought my dream camper, a new truck, and am closing my beloved art studio at the end of this month (March 2025)
To follow my journey, find me on Facebook, Instagram and very soon Youtube, where I will share all my adventures living on the road and of course all the amazing artwork done along the way.
Send me a message! I’d love to hear your story too.
